Director Biographies
Simon Henderson - President & CEO, COO
is a geologist with over 30 years experience in the
gold mining and exploration industry, including 18
years working for Otter Gold Mines Ltd/Mineral
Resources (NZ) Ltd; the last 7 years as
exploration manager. He has extensive experience
over the Coromandel / Central Volcanic Region.
Peter Liddle - CFO
has more than 30 years experience in the financial
services industry, particularly in the mineral and
petroleum exploration sectors in Australia and
New Zealand. He has acted as Company
Secretary for publicly listed companies in
Australasia.
John Dow - Chairman, non Executive Director
is a geologist with over 38 years experience. He
has worked in Southeast Asia, USA and Latin
America. In 2002 he returned as Chairman and
Managing Director of Newmont Australia until his
retirement in 2005. Mr Dow is a Director of the
AusIMM and 2006 President of the Society of
Economic Geologists.
Paul C Jones- non Executive Director
is an Executive Vice President of St Andrew
Goldfields (2003-present) and provides consulting
and management services related to mineral
activities through Sovereign Management Group.
Paul has served in numerous engineering,
operations and senior management positions in
companies active in the Americas and Africa
during his 45 years in the mining industry.
Richard Billingsley - non Executive Director
is a resident of Vancouver, British Columbia; he is
an explorationist and director of Heritage
Explorations Ltd.
Stephen Burns - non Executive Director
is a director and Chairman of the Audit Committee
of St Andrew Goldfields (2001-present) and is the
vice-Chairman of Avenue Financial Corporation, a
corporation which manages investments for high
net worth investors. Prior to that, Stephen had
over 30 years experience as a financial advisor to
entrepreneurial businesses and their owners.
